We are seeking a Pediatric Medicine trained physician to join us in pursuit of high-quality patient care.
The ideal candidate should have:
1-3 years clinical experience in an outpatient setting
Demonstrates competency in diagnosis, and treatment to assure high standards of patient care and safety are maintained.
The patient-centered approach toward a positive patient experience
Ability to treat pediatric patient medical conditions
Excellent communication skills
Interest in Population Health Management & preventative medicine
Review the patient’s history and perform physical examinations. Evaluates diagnoses and provides appropriate treatment. Refers patient to a specialist as needed.
Explains procedures and discusses test results or prescribed treatments with patients and parents or guardians.
Provides quality clinical diagnostic skills in the delivery of patient care. Review all test results and recommend suitable management for the patient, including but not limited to, preventive health recommendations and habits.
Prescribes medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans.
Provides relationship-centered care, taking into account the patient’s psychosocial and physical needs.
Collects, records, and maintains patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results.
Completes and ensures accuracy of patient medical records.
Communicates effectively with the clinical team to ensure total delivery of quality care.
Participates in medical staff educational programs and meetings.
Doctor of Medicine (MD), or foreign equivalent.
Completion of four-year postgraduate medical training and completion of an accredited three-year Pediatric residency program
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatric Medicine.
American Board of Pediatricians (ABP).
Advanced certifications – ACLS, PALS
Must possess current, unrestricted New York State license or be eligible for licensure.
Must possess a valid Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration
Must possess Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll.
Must possess strong communication skills both oral and written.
Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office.

The preferred candidate will be:
Medical Degree or foreign equivalent and completion of a four-year postgraduate medical training
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics Medicine
Candidate must possess or be eligible for a New York State License
Be eligible for DEA registration
Be eligible for Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment

Monday-Wednesday 8:00AM – 6:00PM
Thursday 8:00AM – 8:00PM
Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Saturday 8:00AM – 1:00PM
