Job Description
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Internal Medicine Physician at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital.

Martha’s Vineyard Hospital is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital connected to Windemere, a 4-star long term care facility and located just 7 miles off the coast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Accessible by ferry and plane, this family-friendly island has wonderful school systems, year-round cultural events, fine dining, art galleries, and pristine beaches!

The mission of Martha’s Vineyard Hospital is to safeguard the health of Martha’s Vineyard residents (year-round, seasonal and visitors) by providing or arranging for the provision of high-quality, accessible medical care. This care will be provided to all, regardless of their ability to pay, in an atmosphere that fosters respect and compassion.

As a Internal Medicine Physician, your role will be to provide the full scope of primary care services which fall under his/her field of training, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventative care and health maintenance.

Job Requirements

• Current Massachusetts State Medical License
• Current DEA Certificate
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine. If Board Eligible at the time of hire, must be Board Certified within 3 years of hire date
• Insurability (malpractice)
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
• ACLS or Advanced Life Support within 12 months of employment, if appropriate

• Minimum of 5 years experience
• Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese, a plus
•Responsible for Adult/Pedi Outpatient and Pedi Inpatient call.
• Long term care coverage for own patients and rotated for unassigned
• Willingness to work in a Critical Access environment.
